Day two gives you more wildlife explorations from different perspectives. It starts with an early morning game drive. This is at 6 am, after light coffee or tea.
Your driver will take you to various watering holes to see exciting wildlife interactions. You will also get to see big cats preparing for the morning hunt.
If you are lucky, you may also see the hunting process, a thrilling and action-filled scene.
After this, you will go back for a full breakfast.
In the mid-morning, the driver will take you on a game drive, and you can pass by the hot air balloon spot. This optional activity sees you soaring in the air to get a Birdseye view of the Mara.
In the afternoon, you will enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots. Then a guide will take you on a walking safari which depends on the camp/lodge your staying.
You will see some of the smaller, non-predatory creatures that you cannot see in a vehicle, such as aardvarks, honey badgers, the South African spring hare, and various species of mongooses.
Be on the lookout for overhead habitants because the reserve is home to hundreds of bird species. The Mara is the only place you can see over 300 bird species in a span of 24 hours.
After your tour, the driver will pick you up and take you back to the accommodations. But not before you take some pictures in the sunset.
