Excellent private 3 day 2 night safari to Tsavo East and West
Our driver / guide was Ali and he is exceptional and had everything pre-arranged according to our expectations.
You can tell that Ali really loves his job and he provides a lot of background information on the wildlife and plants you are going to see.
But the best part is that he is not just a driver but a real guide who utilizes his knowledge about the animals and their behavior in order you the best experience. Ali anticipated the route of a group of Elephants and took us to the spot where they would have to pass the road and we were able to watch/video/photograph a whole herd of wild Elephants, including babies, crossing closely in front of our parked vehicle.
On one game drive we were able to spot a couple of male lions under a tree, next to the carcasses of a Giraffe, but there were about 15 vehicles competing for the best spot. Once again Ali’s knowledge about wildlife proved to be a blessing. He explained that lions usually remain stationary at the kill site as longs as there is meat. We came back on our early morning game drive and we were the only vehicle on site and able to observe the lions while feasting on the remains of their giraffe.
Tsavo West is a totally different landscape than Tsavo East but also very beautiful. We saw a lot of wildlife, like a leopard, buffalos, elephants, giraffes, hippos and crocodiles.
We really enjoyed our trip with Ali and will be back, booking again with this provider. Next time we’ll be heading for Amboseli and Masai Mara.
